Customized Treatment

LaserCap has been shown to improve the quality and quantity of hair on its own, but it may also be used as a supplement to other hair restoration techniques, such as PRP therapy, ROGAINE® (minoxidil), or PROPECIA® (finasteride). LaserCap can also benefit patients who have undergone a NeoGraft procedure with Dr. Hasen. LaserCap will prevent further hair loss following a hair transplant. The LaserCap Procedure

Because LaserCap is used at home, a consultation and introductory appointment are all patients need to get started with a treatment plan. At Hair Restoration of Naples, Dr. Hasen recommends LaserCap to most hair restoration patients, either as a supplement to surgical hair restoration or on its own. Once Dr. Hasen develops a treatment plan, patients are scheduled for follow-up appointments at both the 6-month and 1-year marks to monitor their progress.

There is no risk of rejection or an allergic reaction. PRP Therapy is a natural and nonsurgical solution for hair restoration that uses a patient’s own blood. Plasma, which contains platelets that have numerous growth factors, is extracted from the blood and used to stimulate the follicles. The added stem cells are harvested from pre-screened, healthy donors and are biocompatible and non-allergenic.

This option is effective for many patients, especially women. You may begin to notice the results about 3 months after your procedure, although the full effects may not be visible for about a year.

No Downtime

The PRP Procedure

First, your blood is drawn and processed in a centrifuge that separates the platelet-rich plasma from the other blood cells. The stem cells are then thawed and combined with the platelet-rich plasma. Then using a very fine needle, the PRP and stem cells are carefully injected into the areas of the scalp that are thinning. Typically, patients undergo 3 treatments spaced about a month apart to achieve optimal results. many return once a year for a PRP treatment to maintain results.
